"Rent -To-Race League" is a new series of Racing at Sugar River Raceway in 2024!
Rent-To-Race League Details:
Similar to Turn-Key-Thursday rules and format (Ages 18+). However, with league racing we have weight groups to make the racing closer between the lighter and heavier drivers. There will also be overall points awarded for every race-day and a champion crowned at the end of every season (similar to our regular point series program).
Weight Groups:
Lightweight: 150-179lb Driver Weight.
Middleweight: 180-209lb Driver Weight.
Fluffyweight: 210lb+ Driver Weight.
Note: Weight classes may change depending on number of participants and differences in average weight between drivers. This is just a starting point! We will solidify these weight classes at the beginning of the league season.
Format:
You will have a 10-Lap Qualifying/Practice Session, two 10-Lap Heat Races and a 12 Lap Feature Race (That's right, more laps than Turn-Key-Thursday!). The season will consist of 12 race-days. We will take two of your worst race days and use them as "throw-out" races. "Throw-out" races are great in the event that you need to miss two race days, or you just had bad luck and don't want them to go against your overall points average.
Cost of League Racing:
*$90 per driver, per race day.
*This is a "walk-in league" like Turn-Key-Thursday. We will take the first 20 people in the door, each week, for each class. However, if you pay 50% of the season's league-entry fee ($540) up front, you! (This is convenient in the event you aren't wanting to show up extra early).
*If you pay for the entire season up front, you will only have to pay for 10 races instead of 12 ($180 savings). We will get all 12 races in even if we have to reschedule for rain!
*Like most leagues (pool, darts, volleyball, baseball etc.) sponsors play a significant roll with funding. We are also aware that sponsors play a big part in racing as well. So, those who choose to have a sponsor/sponsors, we will give them plenty of great advertising all over our platforms when their League Racer wins!!! ​

Saturday May 11th - (Race #2) Registration 3:30pm-4:15pm. Racing at 4:30pm.
